Question:
I am looking for a receiver hitch for a 94 Chevy 3500 with the cowboy bumper. I believe this to be the hitch I need, but when I measured the frame I measure 37inch outside to outside and the listing says 34, so I dont know how to find the proper hitch

Expert Reply:
The Curt 3-Piece Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15511 is designed for cab and chassis models of the 1994 Chevy 3500 pickups. From what I could find it looks like your Cowboy Bumper is the 10" deep drop bumper so you'll want the Curt Class V Hitch # C15317 instead. This has bolt holes that are spaced 34-3/8" apart on center so you'd actually be measuring to the center of the mounting locations instead of the outside of your frame.
The installation instructions have been linked for you to check out.
