The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13028 is designed to fit the following vechiles:
- 88-91 CHEVY/GMC 4 DR CREW CAB ONLY
- 73-79 FORD 250 CREW CAB
- 73-06 CHEVY/GMC FULL SIZE CAB & CHASSIS w 34" FRAME
- 73-06 FORD PICKUP: CAB AND CHASSIS 34" frame width
- 62-87 CHEVY/GMC ALL FULL SIZE: except 10" bumper.

The measurement running from the middle of the bolt holes across the length of the receiver is 31-1/8". The length of space between the uppermost and bottom bolt hole is 5-7/8" where the length between the bolt holes from the second most upper hole unto the bottom hole is 3-1/4". The bolt holes have a dimension of 1/2" x 7/8". Also, the height of the receiver from where the hitch attaches to the frame to the top of the receiver measures 4-1/2".

Do these hitches bolt to the bottom of the truck chassis or frame or do they bolt on the top of the chassis or frame

The Curt # 13028 will bolt to the bottom of the frame rails. The install manual, linked below, shows a pretty nice diagram of how it actually mounts on the vehicle. Most custom hitches will mount in this manner.
