5-Bike Bike Rack for Honda Odyssey

We have a family of 5. I plan to install the Curt 2inch Hitch on our 2017 Honda Odyssey. Will the Curt 5 Bike Hanging Rack work on the Odyssey. My main concern is the low clearance of the Odyssey with the weight of 5 bikes added.

Yes the Curt Premium 5 Bike Rack # C18065 will work with a 2" hitch on your 2017 Honda Odyssey. The Curt Trailer Hitch # C13068 for your Odyssey measures about 11" from the bottom inside of the receiver tube. The bike rack has a straight shank so in steep inclines like driveways you may have issues with the shank making contact with the ground which is not ideal but it happens sometimes. A hanging style bike rack gives you better clearance when you're carrying 5 bikes because they are further off the ground. You shouldn't have any issues with your bikes making contact unless you are at a drastic angle.
The tapered design of this bike racks arms helps with installing kids and women's bikes. You may still need a bike adapter bar to help keep your bike racks even on the rack. The Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # HRBA-PRO is a nice option.
