Is Scrubblade Platinum Blade Being Flexible Going to be a Problem for Snow
Updated 07/14/2020 | Published 07/12/2020 >
Question:
I just received the Hybrid wiper blade #sc86fr. I live in Minnesota where the winters give us a lot of snow and ice. Will this blade work as well in the winter as the other blade that they offered? The other one seemed to be much stronger and not so flexible. What is your expert advice? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Scrubblade Platinum Windshield Wiper Blade # SC86FR that you referenced is a solid wiper blade that I would recommend for harsh winters like where you'll be at. Having a flexible blade is more advantageous than you'd then. I've broken wiper motors in cars before thinking I could use them to push off large quantities of snow but a flexible blade would give more in that situation and prevent you from having the same issue. This actually has scrapers built into the blade to grab mud and snow and move it out of the way so it's a really great choice.
