Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Scrubblade Platinum windshield wiper blade on our 2020 Chevy Colorado. Now, this is gonna be a great, simple way to go ahead and repair those wiper blades for ourselves. Now, if I'm looking at this guy what I'm primarily gonna be using it for if I have a lot of highway driving, or if I'm with a lot of area of debris and bug guts and whatnot on there. Why that is, is we are getting a dual hybrid blade on this bad boy. So you can see on the inside here we are getting two blades.
So that first one gonna be doing a really good job of getting all of those bug guts, any of that debris, starting to break it up. And then our back one's gonna be primarily for getting that rain and water off of our windshield. So again, gonna be really doing a good job of that heavy duty stuff. Now, if you're just casual driving around this might be a little bit more, you know, unneeded for yourself, however if you want it, it'll definitely still work quite nicely for you. But taking a look at the inside here, it does have a nanographite layers on the inside.
So we know that those blades are gonna hold up quite well to the wind and resistance. So with those being pretty low profile, don't think we're gonna have any issues with the wind rising it up. So let's go ahead and take a quick look at how we can actually get it de-installed. So taking a look here on our blade, we do see that we do have a J-style hook on the inside here. It might be a little hard to see from your guys' area but there is just a little clip on the inside here.
Hopefully you can kinda hear that. So I'm just gonna go ahead and press that in with a finger and then slide this down. And then once we get it started, gonna be able to slide that J-hook like so. There we go, and we'll go ahead and release and you can see, can easily pop this guy out like so. There we go.
Now that that guy's gone, we can go ahead and actually throw in ours. As you can see, primarily this is gonna have our J-style adapter in it. However, Scrubblade offers a whole bunch of different accessories. So if for some reason your blades aren't like this, the J-style hook, you can go ahead and make sure we have the right adapter. However, I think most of us at home are gonna be having that as well. And take a look here. You can see that this is where our J-style adapter is on the inside here. There's gonna be a circle little mount right in there. That's actually where we're gonna fit our J-style into. So we'll flip this little cartridge up out of the way reinserting our J-hook like so. Kinda getting that angle just to get it in the back there and then walking it up. Like so. And we get it in position. And then we'll go ahead and bring that lever down and we're ready to wipe. Now, as you can see here today we have gone ahead and thrown a towel. I definitely recommend putting one of those down even maybe a foam blocker. If we are accidentally bumping this and we don't have a blade on here that can snap down and hurt our windshield. So make sure before we get it started too much we are throwing a towel or something underneath. Well, that does it for the driver's side. Let's go ahead and take a look at the passenger. Gonna be pretty much the same process. So this is might be where things are a little different at home. Again, let's make sure that we have a towel or a foam blocker, just protecting our windshield as we go. And as well, this might be a little different at home. However, today we do have a little clip in here. Let me get a little better angle of it now. You can see that little clip just needs to be pushed up. Trying to start this can be a little tricky. Oh. Like so. Making sure we're not damaging this as we go. So you can see getting that nice and released. And again, we just pop open this tab like so. We do have our J-style adapter with us today. And we want to reinsert this arm. Getting it underneath first and then just pulling to completion. You're gonna to hear it snap together. And then you go ahead and clip that down and we're ready to wipe. So here we are, just gonna simulate a little bit of rain being added. As you can see gonna be doing a good job of clearing all that off. Starting to scrub as well as you see a little bit of debris getting nice and put up there. This is gonna be doing a little better job if it's nice and fresh, obviously, but still doing a good job. Well, as I mentioned before. I think this is really gonna be necessary if you have a lot of highway driving, if you're getting a lot of debris on that windshield. If you're just looking for some casual rain clearance I might recommend something else. However, price points really aren't that big of a difference. I think these do a really good job with those dual action blades. And of course that nanographite is gonna be doing a good job of holding these blades up for the long durability. Well, I think that about does it for a look at the Scrubblade Platinum windshield wiper blades on our 2020 Chevy Colorado. I'm Bobby. Thank you for watching..

I’ve had these for a year now and they’ve performed really well. I was surprised how easy they were to install as well. Only thing I noticed was the center portion of the wiper was missing the windshield so I had to flex the blade to make it flatter and it’s been fine since.
Unfortunately I didn’t like them. I had great expectations but they just didn’t work for me. They really didn’t remove the bugs from the windshield and didn’t remove rain that well either. I removed them and replace them with a standard wiper after just a few months.
My Toyota Tundra takes a different blade attachment style that I've never encountered before. It took a while to figure it out, but the proper parts were included in the package! Thanks! I havent driven the pickup since I installed the new wipers...
These blades do a great job cleaning the windshield as well as moving the water off. They were simple to install, it took me five minutes to change them both. I highly recommend these wiper blades!
These wipers work great. Got them just in time for a snowstorm and they kept the window clear and did not freeze up at all. Very easy to install as they supply all the different connection parts for different types of wiper arms.
Bought a set for my Tacoma pick up and one for the wife's Forrester, love these. Only wish they sold the shorter one for the rear window of the Subaru as it would've put my total into the FREE SHIPPING category!
Items received promptly as stated.
One received blade had a small defect, contacted etrailer through email, response received within 24hrs, free replacement was dispatched immediately = excellent customer service!
I expected more from these wiper blades. They are OK but not great.
bought replacement part based on etrailer recommendation, and the part fits beautifully. It arrived sooner than I was led to believe, so all in all a great transaction. Will buy from etrailer in the future.
Excellent, way better than the WeatherTech rain guards I had on there before.
Most products I've gotten from etrailer have been great, up until this product. The adapter attachment did not work for putting it onto the subaru. This made them worthless, so I ended up going to the local subaru dealer and getting wiper blades for the same cost. I was able to make the other wipers I purchased for the Durango work, but the "scrubblade" itself does not appear to do any better than a typical wiper blade. Thumbs down on this product.
these are excellent wipers
I usually buy 1 wiper, at about 6 months, it shows (wear) and then I move it to passenger side and buy a fresh one....
My Scrubblade is still clear, perfect. Have not considered a new blade for Winter season. Now my passenger blade is going "down hill" Scrubblade is a good product, (and etrailer is a GREAT vendor)
My daughter needed blades for her Silverado. I was tired of spending $40 on blades that didn’t work all that well to begin with and only had an effective life of a couple of months. I put them on her truck with the windshield covered with a heavy coat of pollen. She hit the washer and it was gone in one cycle. They even got some of the residual bug parts. At first glance the do very well. Interested to see how long they last.

They are holding out very well. There is no sign of wear. She says that they keep the windshield clean. Her only complaint is that they squeak a little in very light rain. Definitely be buying again.
I just installed the "scrubblade premium" wiper blades on my vehicle. Haven't had the opportunity to actually use them yet, but I am impressed with the quality of the product, ease of installation and overall appearance. I look forward to seeing how the blades actually perform this Winter. As usual, "etrailer" was a PLEASURE to deal with and, I must say, that I have never been disappointed with the quality of any of their products that I have purchased in the past. Thanks again etrailer.

Wippers still working great as far as cleaning the Windshield only draw back is they rub on Windshield when its raining lightly.
Really works well. The blades has the right tension to really wipe well. This is on a Ford Ranger. Second season and doing great! I definitely will buy again. You will not be disappointed in these.
Double the pleasure, double the fun! What could be better than two blades on one wiper!

They are working just fine! Need an occasional wiping to remove grit and debris.
I bought these because of the Michelin name, the twin blade and scrubbable design. Awesome overall quality which I believe will give wonderful service for a long time. Thank you etrailer for providing an answer to the question: "Where is the best products for my vehicle needs?" Great job folks, great job.
Sorry guys , but they didn’t last the year!!! They started streaking after 6 months. The drivers side bowed in the bottom 6 inches and lost contact with the windshield. I had to replace them.
I live in AZ, so wiper blades aren't needed very often. We did have a couple days of rain last week and my high end Bosch wipers were horrible. They skidded and skipped. I replaced them with Scrubblade that I had purchased a few months ago. They cleared the rain cleanly per swipe. May order more.
Driver side is much better and is cleaning the windshield as expected.

This product is a very good product has worked great for the year that Ive had them and still going strong I will buy this product again
Blades are easy to mount. Watch out for broken pieces. Little plastic wing on part 3H2 broken on one of mine. Didn’t need it for my application so was ok. Couldn’t rate it higher due to this.zz

After a year the wipers still clean the windshield very well. Lots of pollen and dust in the AM comes off easily using the washers.
Great wiper blades. The days of wiper blades costing $2.50 are long gone. So choosing the best for your money is a must. These blades fit great, took less than 5 minutes to install and work perfectly. I will buy these again the next time I need wiper blades for my truck.

These windshield wipers are amazing. After a year of using them the only complaint is that they work too well. I have automatic wipers and with just a little bit of moisture they turn on. These blades wipe and squeak because there isnt enough water to wipe away. I simply adjusted when the blades turn on. Great blades.
