Can Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode Work with 37 Amps at 10V Input
Published 07/17/2020 >
Question:
thanks for the response, but the question I was asking if it was OK to run 37VDC through the diode. I have a power supply that has a 37vdc output at 10 amps and I just wanted to know if they voltage rating of the diode will allow for the 37vdc without damaging it since at 12vdc it can handle 1020 Watts, I thought that since at 37vdc at 10 amps is only 370 Watts and it's way under the 1020 Watt. So I think it may work but that's why I am double checking to see if it will work for me.

The Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode # RM-790 is rated for a max of 85 amps at 12 volts. If you meant to say 37 amps at 10V then this should work out just fine!
