Question:

On your website you have a CURT Q20 Item # C57FR you also have another CURT Q20 Item # C16530-16025. Trying to figure out the difference. I need a 5th wheel hitch for a 2020 Silverado 2500 with a 6ft 9in bed that has the GM puck system. I will be pulling a 12000 lb trailer What do you recommend.

The Curt Q20 # C57FR is confirmed to fit 2020+ GM 2500 and 3500 model trucks with the factory OEM Prep Package. The Curt Q20 # C16530-16025 is designed to fit 2016 - 2019 model year GM 2500s and 3500s with the factory OEM Prep Package. GM changed the layout of the prep package for the 2020 model year, so these 5th wheel hitches needed a slight update. Both of these fixed Curt hitches are great for long bed trucks or 5th wheels that have a Sidewinder pin box.

For your 2020 Silverado 2500 with 6-3/4 foot bed and factory puck system, I recommend the B&W 20K Fifth Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3775 because it is a sliding hitch and it is made in the USA. It drops into the factory pucks so you will not need any adapter plate or any extra components. The sliding feature of the hitch will allow you to make tight turns with your shorter bed and not make contact between the front of the trailer and the cab of the truck.
