I have a 2016 VW Touareg. I am having trouble keeping the connection between the monitor and camera. Will the Furrion Adapter help me? The video on this adapter said this is an issue with late model tow vehicles. Since my VW is older I was wondering if this is the issue with my camera not functioning?

The easiest way to see if the # FR87PR adapter will work for you is to use a multimeter like # PT89ZR on the running lamp pin on your 7-way (pin in the 11:00 position) while the running lamps are switched on. If there isn't at least 300mA coming from that pin, then in that case the # FR87PR would fix your problem. If you're getting enough power on that pin, then something else is causing the issue. I'd recommend ensuring that the antennas are fully screwed in. If they are, try repositioning the antenna on the camera.
Another solution would be to splice in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR behind the camera to provide a steady current for proper operation.
