Does Switch of LED Adjustable Reading Light Also Control USB Port

Question:

Does the switch that controls the light also control power to the USB port, or is the USB port always able to be used? And, if the USB is always available, does it parasitically draw a small amount of power even if nothing is plugged into it?

The USB port of the # CE46FR is actuave at all times and the switch does not affect it. The port being active does not draw any amperage when idle too.

I recently bought two of these lights but cannot figure out how to get them to turn on. I watched the review video that shows just pushing the button, but nothing happens when I do that. Does the white plastic disc have to come off somehow to make the button work? Am stumped at to why they won't turn on. Please help!

I would make sure you're getting adequate power from your power source and that the wiring is securely and correct attached. Turning on the light is indeed just a matter of touching the round button on the base.
