How to Remove Cartridge Stuck in Grease Gun

I can’t get the empty cartridge out of the grease gun. Please help

The upper assembly where the grease nozzle meets the barrel of the grease gun is actually threaded, so the top of the grease gun can be unscrewed. You can then use a broomstick or something similar to push the empty cartridge out the top from the bottom.
