So it is the best tow bar for your 2002 Jeep Wrangler, just note that you will also need the Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly # 910021-00 for use with the recommended base plates for your 2002 Wrangler, the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 1420-1.

There is also a more budget-friendly option you may want to consider, which also does not require the adapter, which is the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522. This bar is heavier than the Nighthawk and does not have LED lights or safety cables - so you'd need the Roadmaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 - but it is overall the less expensive option and does not need an adapter.
