The best Convert a Ball fifth wheel to gooseneck option for a short bed truck would be the # CAB-C5GX1216 which an offset of 7-1/2 inches built into it. This helps a bit with turning clearance for short bed trucks like you have. If your trailer has a tapered nose you should be good but if the nose is 8 foot wide and square you may have clearance issues still.
