Question:

Hello I have a A20 slider 5th wheel hitch that I used in a 2018 GMC 2500 short bed. I recently upgraded to a 2020 GMC 3500 short bed and wanted to use the same hitch. Sounds like the needed base is on backorder with an unknown arrival date. Is their legs that I can purchase that would allow me to use my existing A20 head that fits into the 2020 GMC OEM puck system? Thank you,

Instead of using the Curt Adapter Rails Adapter Rails # C88KR for the Curt A20 Slider C16541 on your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 with the OEM puck system, you can use the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6333. This gives you the same style of standard base rails that will fit with the A20 slider so you can use it with your Sierra (June 2020).

You can use the legs # CU53FR to fit your OEM puck system but just keep in mind that with your short bed you'll have a reduced turning clearance between your trailer and truck cab. We like to err on the side of caution and recommend using the slider legs but we have heard from people they have been able to tow with the 6-3/4' bed, they are just more careful when taking turns.
