2026 Chev 2500 6.9 bed with puck system. Do I have to use slider fifth wheel hitch or can I use the one for 8 ft bed? I’ve never used the slider on my truck now.

Hey Dennis,
In terms of the puck system, the layout of the pucks between the 2 bed sizes are going to differ. Since they don't make a fixed hitch for the puck system on that 8.9 foot bed you would have to go with a slider if you wanted to use the pucks. For your truck the B & W is recommended # BWRVK3775.
The other option you could do would be to use the adapter rails from Curt # C88KR and pair that with a normal fixed hitch that needs rails to install like the B & W Companion # BWRVK3715.
