I have the curtesy left gate option. I do not see the pre-drilled holes. I just need a hitch for a bike rack. Thank you,

The etrailer hitch part # e98906 is listed as a fit for the 2009-2017 Volkswagen Tiguan. So, for your 2019 Tiguan, the hitch you need is the Draw-Tite # DT53GR, which fits all models, including the SEL Type R, like what you have.

Once you remove the rear fascia area needed to access the bumper beam there should be holes and weld nuts present like the attached install instructions and linked video show. As far as we know only the US models of the Tiguan have the holes needed in the beam so if yours does not have them that would indicate it's not a US model.
