Question:
I am interested in the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack, but I need one to fit 2 Blix e-bikes. Would you recommend the correct rack for me? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
I looked up the Blix e-bikes and they weigh just under 50 lbs and have a very low crosstube which is common for e-bikes. So the Swagman XTC2 part # S64670 is a great bike rack but it does not have the weight capacity you need as it has a 35 lb per bike capacity. So for a similar rack that does have the capacity needed you'd want the part # HLY74FR which has a weight capacity of 80 lbs per bike and was designed for carrying the heavier e-bikes. I attached a review video for more info on it as well.

I’m looking for a rear hitch and bike rack for 2011 Toyota RAV4 (has a protruding spare wheel on the rear door) that can carry two 50+ lbs e-bikes, one of them which is a step-thru bike with no top bar. What are your suggestions? I apologize if this is not the right way to submit this question. I could not find a direct way to ask an expert.
