Looking for a hitch that does not attach to my bumper On 2002 light duty 3/4 chev silverado. Bumper supports rusted out.

The Curt # C15323 installs to the underside of the frame members as shown in the provided diagram.
You'll want to make sure the rear frame members where the hitch would install are still sound. Some surface rust is normal, but if it's any worse than that I wouldn't recommend towing with that vehicle.
