How deep is the horizontal section of the mounting flange that rests on the bottom ledge of the i-beam?

The width of the plate that sits on the frame of the Curt # 13703 is approximately 2-1/8" wide. I've attached a photo/diagram that we have that provides you with the other dimensions you may need to know, as well.
