Question:

I went to unhook my fifth wheel, and on the ground control display, it is blank. jacks all work but the display is totally blank. I unplugged everything reset the power, and the same result, display is blank. Is there a fuse for the display? What would cause this? unit works, jacks go up and down, I even auto leveled it once and that worked. but again, display was blank.unit is 15 months old.

Sometimes the displays of the Lippert Ground Control # LC358590 go blank for some reason and need to be reset. I would start by unplugging the control panel for several seconds and then plugging it back in. We've seen just doing that alone fix most of the problems with the control panels.

If the unit will not power on and remains blank after trying to reset it, then there is likely an internal problem and it will need to be replaced. For a replacement if needed it is # LC358601.
