Question:
I recently purchased a flex air pin box for my trailer. Could you tell me what the air pressure should be for the airbag?

Expert Reply:
The amount of air pressure needed in the Flex Air pin box you have totally depends on the weight of your trailer.
Step 11 of the installation details (which are linked) for the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492 state to:
Inflate the air bag with only enough air to raise the pin box to the ride height mark on the front of the shock absorber with the truck and trailer at rest.
Over-inflating the air bag could cause it to burst and cause some serious injury to you or those around you.
