Will Installing the Advent RV Air Conditioner with Carrier Adapter Void the Warranty

Question:

I recently took my RV to a local RV service center and they determine as I suspected that my Carrier unit had kicked the bucket. I pointed them to the Advent direct replacement for the Carrier unit but they said because of the adapter they couldnt warranty the Advent unit. Here is their response: The wiring is different from a carrier to a advent from upper unit to the control box. If I use their “plug and play” conversation I couldn’t warranty any of the system does this sound true to you or they just trying to steer me to another product?

The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup part # ACCAR150 is an excellent option to replace an old Carrier air conditioner. The plug-in-play adapter will make things a breeze to change, so much so that you can do this yourself at home. Therefore, you don't have to worry about getting swindled by a dealer trying to push a particular brand upon you. The warranty of the unit would not be void with the adapter as that is its intended use. This warranty could be carried out by either us (assuming you purchase it from us) or Advent if issues were to occur.
