I have a 2020 Equinox with a bare roof. I need a roof rack to attach my Jaylow kayak carriers to. What are my options? I want something that will lock. I see Rhino Rack RS2500 - vortex aero bar for $. Does it require me to buy the Custom DK Kit DK488? If you could give me my options I would appreciate it. Thanks

In order to use a j-style kayak carrier like the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier part # Y04073 on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox with bare roof you will indeed need a roof rack, I recommend one with over-sized crossbars since you will need as much room as possible to carry multiple kayaks. The Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA126B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK488 is what I recommend. The custom fit kit is required as this component is vehicle specific.
I have attached some other options with a link below, just make sure to pick an option in which the crossbars extend out past the mounting feet.
