Question:

the shut off value has a hose to the regulator. does the T- fixture get connected to that hose then the T fixture connect to the regulator? I saw a picture that looked like the T fixture connected to the shut-off valve then to the regulator.I would like the hose to the grill with the shut-off. what would you sugest?

Normally the Tee goes between the tank and the regulator. You would use the hose you looked at, part # 100476-120-MBS, and a Tee that has a quick disconnect fitting like part # 103537-MBS. This would connect to an appliance that normally connects to a 1 pound disposable tank. Such appliances normally have their own regulator and you'd be all set.

If your grill doesn't have its own regulator then this setup isn't going to work for you.
