Is the problem with my truck or trailer Trailer won’t light side markers or running light

It's very possible you blew the trailer running light circuit fuse on your vehicle. You might check that first. Next likely scenario is that you have corrosion on the running light circuit pins of the trailer wiring connector you have as well. Clean that and that should take care of it.
