Recommended Subwoofer for iRV RV Stereo iRV34

Question:

Hello, My question pertains to my existing irv34 rv unit. I want to install a subwoofer to this unit. Is an active subwoofer the same is an amplified subwoofer? Do I need a separate amplifier if I choose to use an active subwoofer. Can you recommend a compatable subwoofer for my system. Thank You

In order to hook up a subwoofer to the iRV RV Stereo part # iRV34, you'll need to use an active speaker which is one that has a built-in amplifier. For this, the Furrion Indoor Enclosed Amplified Subwoofer part # FSW8P12CF is our best option which is an active speaker so it will work well for your needs.
