Features to know about

Convert Your Dinette Table to a Bed

Raises up for dining. Or goes down for another bed or storage while traveling.

This table leg will work with most tabletops that come with your RV, but if you want to upgrade the looks of your tabletop, we have several styles available (sold separately). Once you install a top onto this leg, you can easily turn your table into a bed with a quick adjustment, giving you an extra place for guests to sleep.

Customizable Tabletop Positioning for Comfort

Customizable tabletop positioning.

Need a little more space on one side? How about a little nightstand or place to put your drink while lounging? This table moves forward, backward, and side-to-side, so you can adjust it to suit your seating arrangement. Once you have the table where you want it, lock it into place with the flip of a lever.

Adjustable Height for Every Family Member

Adjustable height for any situation.

From little ones eating dinner to adults working remotely, this telescoping table leg lets you set the perfect height. Lower it for kids to comfortably reach their plates or get it perfectly adjusted to use as an ergonomic work desk.

Stable & Secure with Oversized Base

An oversize base helps give you a solid table.

Few things are worse than a wobbly table in an RV - did we mention this table is made by a company that makes trailer axles? Because it's a Terran table, you can count on it holding up to daily wear, bumps, and corrosion. And with a 9-1/2" base and 6 mounting holes, this table leg keeps your setup stable. From dinner to game night, the solid foundation prevents unwanted movement.

Protect Your Floor During Installation

We know one of your biggest concerns is keeping your RV floor scratch-free when installing this in a slide out. When we installed this table, we started by drilling a pilot through the slide-out floor to get an idea of how thick the floor was. Then we used hardware that was just the right length for the job. But, if you buy screws and find they're a bit too long and you really don't want to go back to the store, you can file them down to make sure your floor is safe when you pull the slide-out back in.

This is a great product. For the price, I expected the top to be a little more stable but it definitely beats the spring loaded finger guillotine that takes two people to lift.

by:

For a $600 dollar item I thought it would be packaged better and hardware would have been included. It works great, I like it better than what I had

by:

This is a very nice product, very sturdy and well made. It was actually about 1 inch too tall to fit my dinette when collapsed down into a bed but Etrailer graciously allowed me to return it. But a very nice piece indeed.

by:

Very practical for our RV easy to insta ll

by:

This was an excellent upgrade from the dinette pedestal that came with my travel trailer. No more wrestling with the table top when converting to a bed!

by:

Seems well built and operates great. More stable than the standard legs. There aren't any instructions but installation was fairly straight forward and etrailer has videos on the product page. It's worth the price not to have to mess with the standard table legs anymore. I had two issues with the installation: the screws to attach the mount to the table top were too long for my table so I had to cut the tips down to make sure they didn't go through the top and the paint chipped around the screw holes on the base mount when I tightened down the screws. Hopefully the chipping doesn't get worse, that's the reason for only four stars. etrailer has great customer service and quick responses.

by:

Well-built, 5-star quality pedestal for RV table. Gave 4 stars because installation was harder than it needed to be due to zero documentation from manufacturer on operation and installation. Watch the etrailer videos and try to apply to your particular situation and you will eventually get it right.

by:

We love the new dinette leg. It was relatively easy to install, watch the video, and works great. There is still a little table movement but much less than the original equipment and we no longer have to fight with those aggravating folding legs.

by:

Game changer!!! One of the best upgrades I have done to my travel trailer, makes it super easy to just turn the dinette into the bed or just in general lowering it when packing everything away. I work remotely from my trailer and this has made the usage of the dinette area very versatile versus a pain. I highly recommend this.

by:

Great upgrade. Replaced the poor design two pipe OEM table support with this great alternative. Easy to operate and adjust.

by:

Great replacement for lift table had only issue when set at lowest point was not 12.25” more like 13.5” but still worked. The actual posted 12.25 inches would have been great. Only had it installed for roughly 2 weeks but seems to be doing the job.

by:

A game-changer for our RV dining setup. We swapped out the factory-installed single-position telescoping leg for this one, and the multi-directional adjustment — side-to-side, front-to-back, plus the extra height range — completely changes how the table functions. Should have been standard from the factory.

by:

Had factory 2-post, fixed-height, fixed-position dinette table. This was an easy upgrade, even even without instructions. I'm a retired engineer, so do not read instructions, and as an adult male, who needs them anyway? All hardware was included. The rest was easy. I did have an odd question. I exchanged emails with a real person, received quick responses, and had a solution waiting in my inbox the next morning. Ease of ordering, shipping time, quality of product, and customer service, all 5-star :)

Winging it is way more adventurous than following boring instructions, and it looks like it turned out great, Lynn! I imagine having a single post now gives you a lot more leg room too. But more importantly, where is the camper taking you to next?

One year in, the Dinette Table Leg TX73VJ has been the single most appreciated mod to our Class C. Every time we slide the table aside to sit in our dinette, we thank etrailer for making this product available.

by:

Had an RV place put it in, because we couldn't get time to do it. He stated, "it was easy to install" when asked. The functionality of it, once installed is easy as well, to raise and lower it. After my husband laid on it in the bed position, he stated how comfortable it was. Unfortunately, the table top used from the old mount, became flimsy. Not sure if it was his weight of 170 lbs or if it's the table top itself, not being as sturdy on its own. Overall, I am happy with the product. We will look to install a better built table top before any adults lay on it, but in the meantime, it still works for kids and I don't worry about it breaking anything, because this base remains tightly secured. In spite of our issues, I would still recommend this product, because it functions as advertised.

by:

After just a couple months use the bushings in the telescoping tubes are broken and the table wobbles terribly. This is just not well made.
