In order to determine the correct SumoSprings Leaf Spring Enhancement System for your trailer, you need to need the weight capacity of the axles and if you have an overslung or underslung axle (which I'll explain).
Based on your 2017 Montana's weight, both available kits have the right capacity, so all you need to do is find out if your Montanta has an overslung (springs sit over axle) or underslung axle (springs sit under axle).
All this means is the position of the leaf springs relative to the axle.
- Leaf Springs Underneath the Axle: SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket - Single Axle - 3K to 5K - Underslung # TSS-106-40
- Leaf Springs Above the Axle: SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket - Single Axle - 3K to 5K - Overslung # TSS-107-40
I recommend taking a look at the linked instructions for both springs for a good idea of exactly what this means if you are still unsure.
