4-Bike Rack That Will Work With Childrens Bikes

Question:

Will this carrier MPG2112-2115 be able to securely hold smaller bikes? My daughters have a 16 inch and 18 inch tire bikes. Wondering if the carrier would hold them if I adjusted the wheel cradles far enough back and then used the arm to secure the bike via the front tire. My old Thule was able to carry them if I did exactly what I described above. Thanks!

We do have an option for a very high-quality 4-bike rack that will be able to accommodate your daughters' 16" and 18" wheels, although I checked with Malone and the (now discontinued) Malone Pilot is not compatible; it will only work with 20” to 29” wheels.

So instead, I recommend a Hollywood Racks 4-bike rack:
