Is Thule Helium Platform Bike Rack Compatible with Curt Hitch on a 2020 Subaru Forester

Question:

hello - I have a technical question for this item C13409: i would like to know if the pin hole opening is 1.5inch inset from the receiver opening. I am looking to purchase the Thule Helium Platform 2 Rack and it requires the 1.5 inch measurement. I drive a 2020 Subaru Forester Sport AWD. This item is listed as a fit. thanks for your help.

The center of the hitch pin hole for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13409 is 2-1/2" back from the opening of the receiver so this will work perfectly with the Thule Helium 2 Bike Platform Rack # TH44VR for your 2020 Subaru Forester.

It's my understanding that the only time that hitch pin hole location is a problem is with some OEM hitches on various vehicles. I know that there was some issues of fitting accessories with the OEM hitch on previous years of the Subaru Outback Wagon, but aside from that aftermarket hitches are typically just fine and this is more or less just a way to ensure that everyone is using the bike rack safely..
