We have custom fit gooseneck hitches from Curt that are a confirmed fit for your 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD short bed like with the part # C60712 but the # C65500 you referenced is essentially just a plate that could be fabricated to fit nearly all applications but the install will be pretty involved since you'd have to weld to the truck frame etc.
