Question:

Mine was totally destroyed when the tarp cover was ripped in a high wind and flailed about From the parts, I ordered a Ventine BV0554-01. It does not have the right hinge system, as far as I can tell. the owners manual doesnt specify what the vent is. the size and everything else of the one I received seem correct. Pictures below of the vent hole from the top and the mate-ing hinge I wasnt smart enough to keep all the part - to be able to guess what the hinge looks like. Please advise

It does look like you have a rolled metal hinge design but we do not carry a lid that will fit the mating hinge in the photo. I recommend to use the MaxxAir UniMaxx Universal Replacement Lid for RV and Trailer Roof Vent part # MA00-335001 which comes with the hinge pre-installed on the lid that will need to be screwed into your existing vent assembly after you remove the current mating hinge. This process is easier and less expensive then replacing the whole vent if the rest of the vent is still in good working order.
