Question:
Have 2 wheel trailor for transporting front of auto. Need both tires. Old ones are B78-13 S.T.. What size would you suggest and price. Home address is Houston, Texas

Expert Reply:
The modern equivalent of your B78-13 tire size is a 175/80-13. Our tire and wheel assemblies in this tire size come with either a 4 on 4 inch wheel bolt pattern or a 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern.
So, if your existing wheels have a 4 bolt pattern, your best option is the Kenda Loadstar Bias Trailer Tire, which you can either get with a galvanized wheel part # AM3S130, or with a white wheel, part # AM3S120. Either one will have a 1,360-lb maximum load at 50 psi (load range C).
Otherwise, if your existing wheels have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, I recommend the Kenda Karrier Radial Trailer Tire with a 13" White Wheel, part # AM31985. It has a 1,610-lb maximum load at 65 psi (load range D).
The parts are listed below alongside their most current pricing.
