How tall will the supports poles go? What is the tallest height you can expect when the awning is set up?

The legs on the Rhino Rack Dome 1300 Awning - Roof Rack Mount # RR32125 can be adjusted between 5ft tall and 8-1/2 feet tall. However, the amount of clearance you'll have closest to the vehicle depends on how tall your vehicle is where this awning is mounted. This will work on crossover wagon style vehicles like a Subaru Outback but you're going to the most clearance when it's mounted on a truck or large SUV like a GMC Yukon or Jeep Wrangler with a lift kit installed.
