How To Obtain Power for Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System
Published 03/26/2020 >
Question:
How do you wire the FOS43TASF unit into the running light on a Surveyor 19BHLE 2018? Where do the wires from the backup camera go to hook into on the trailer lights? The walls are sealed so I can not access the wire coming from the camera to where they connect with the reverse lights.

The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # FOS43TASF can be installed one of two ways, as an observation system or as a back-up camera system. In order to install the camera as an observation system which is the most popular method you simply need to tap into the running light circuit. This is usually done by replacing a clearance light on the trailer or just removing it so you can tie into the power wire and then run this to the location you wish to install the camera. In order to install the unit as a back-up system you'll need to run a wire from the reverse circuit on the trailer connector all the way back to the rear of the camper where you want to mount the camera.
Unfortunately, I don't have any install advice specific to any one particular trailer but the above method can be used for pretty much any even one with sealed walls.
