Question:
I have ST205/75R15 load range D tire wheel combo on my trailer with a 6 on 51/2 bolt pattern white mod I want to upgrade to a bigger tire wheel. Can I use ST225/75R15? I may get new wheels

Yes, most people can upgrade to a ST225/75R15 tire from a ST205/75R15 as long as they have the clearance. The ST225/75R15 is about an inch wider and taller compared to the ST205/75R15 tires so this is a very common upgrade. The general rule is you want to keep 3 inches of vertical clearance above the top of the tire to allow for normal travel of the trailer's suspension and 1 to 2 inches of clearance between the tire's sidewall and the closest part of the trailer.
I recommend to upgrade to the Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" White Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR D
Item # TA24VR, which has a 2,540 lbs at 65 psi and 81 MPH speed rating. The wheel is a nice rust resistant powder coated white mod wheel.
If you decide to replace just the tire the ST225/75R15 is part # TTWTRTM2257515D.
