Question:
I want to replace the tires on my small utility trailer. The current tires are 5.70-8, bias ply, load range B high speed tires, 18 in. diameter, 6 in. wide, with 9 in. rims, 4 lug holes. What would you recommend?

Expert Reply:
The trailer tire size you have of 5.70-8 is actually still in production today and easily replaceable. The Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM10010 will be an excellent option for this. That said, by the time you pay to have the old tire dismounted and the new tire mounted it will end up being more cost effective to just get a new pre-mounted wheel/tire combo, the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel part # AM30080.
