So I looking at a tandem Feelfree Lure II kayak 14’ and wanted someone’s expert opinion if it could fit on a 2017 Honda CRV? I currently have a yakima jetstream 55” roof rack and want to know what kind of kayak carrier would work with my CRV and a tandem kayak? Thx

Your Freelfree Overdrive Lure II Tandem kayak will indeed fit on your existing roof rack. According to what I've managed to look up, the kayak weighs up to 115 lbs, which is well within the capabilities of the Yakima Jetstream roof rack you mentioned.

I have the perfect carrier for you. The Yakima BigCatch # Y04091 would work great for you. Due to the width of your kayak, using a j-style carrier like the Thule # TH834 Hull-A-Port wouldn't be a good choice, but the BigCatch would allow you to load the kayak from the rear, and has sufficient weight capacity to handle your heavier kayak. I've linked you to an product demonstration video showing how the carrier works. The BigCatch includes includes tie downs to attach the boat to the rack, as well as bow/stern tie downs.

The carrier clamps around your crossbars, but if you'd prefer them to attach via the channels in your crossbars an adapter kit, part # Y04092 is available separately.
