So, if the tongue weight is 1000lb, what does the figure “900 lbs” mean?

Helpful Expert Reply:
You're in luck, because the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # C17500 actually comes with a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball, so it will work perfectly with the coupler on your travel trailer that accepts a 2-5/16 inch ball.
In regards to the fit in 2 inch hitches, that refers to the shank of the TruTrack fitting in 2 inch trailer hitch receivers on your tow vehicle. So if your truck has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, the shank of this system will slide right in and fit. I have added links to a couple video reviews for you to check out as well.
