Can TorkLift Lock and Load Maximum Security Cargo Tray # TLA7752 be Used in Travel Trailer Hitch

Question:
Hello, We have a 2019 Montanta 3700LK and I want to carry our Westinghouse igen4500 generator - weight is right at 100 lbs. The rear receiver according to the factory is rated at 300 lbs. My concern is with the bouncing while going down the road, carrying our generator, will this exceed the 300 lb limit and will this TLA7752 be able to handle the weight and bouncing without damaging the frame of the 5th wheel or losing the generator? It seems to have great reviews, Im just concerned about weight limits and not damaging the trailer.

The 24x27 TorkLift Lock and Load Maximum Security Cargo Tray # TLA7752 that you referenced is rated for the rougher ride quality that is present at the rear of travel trailers like yours which is a bit rougher like you noticed. I attached a picture of this installed in the hitch of a similar RV as well. Your generator that weighs 100 lbs would be perfectly secure in this. There would be no damaged to the RV hitch or frame.
