Expert Reply:
The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C56190 draws and applies power from the vehicle battery only when the turn signals, brake lights, or tail lights are activated. When the vehicle's ignition is off and there is no current drawn on any of these lighting circuits, the power from the vehicle battery is shut off at the converter. So you don't have to worry about your vehicle battery draining.
