Will I need a equalizer module or any other device to add this light to an existing trailer with std. 12 volt bulb lights??

You will not need to add any diodes or other modules to prevent hyperflashing or any other bizarre taillight behavior when you install this Optronics Tail Light # STL78RB on your trailer.
If you were installing LED tail lights on a vehicle and replacing the lights on the turn signal circuit then you would need a load resistor so that the blinkers would function correctly.
