Question:
hi, we have purchased a gooseneck trailer. we have a fleet of about 20 road tractors and want to be able to tow it with any of them. is there anything we can get to convert the lights and work the brakes that we could strap on the catwalk of the truck? we would like to be able to plug and play so we can swap it from truck to truck in a matter of minutes. maybe even install a brake controller into the setup on the catwalk?

In order to haul your gooseneck trailer with a fleet of semi-tractors you will need to make your own adapter harness which will then make for a plug and play connection but they don't make anything pre-assembled for this out of the box to my knowledge. In order to make the adapter you will need the Pollak Heavy-Duty, 7-Pole, Round Pin, Trailer Wiring Connector part # PK11700, the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter part # RM-732, and the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV Blade-Style Trailer Socket part # PK12-707E. I have attached a help article for the wiring side of things.
The Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller part # 3430001 would then need to be permanently mounted on the trailer. Please note, in order to connect the trailer to the semi you most likely need some sort of adapter like the Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter part # KPG5-R25-IP.
