I have a custom cargo carrier. What are the dimensions of the metal mounting bracket that holds the light?

The etrailer.com License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit pat # e98943-44LED contains the etrailer.com Tail Light Mounting Brackets part # e98943 which measures 8-1/8" wide x 5-1/2" tall x 1" deep (bottom) x 2" deep (top). The light opening then measures 6-3/4" wide x 2-1/2" tall.
