Question:
I need a trailer hitch for our 2019 Ford Escape. Which one is best? I see there are several so kinda hard to decide.

The best trailer hitch for a 2019 Ford Escape is between the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75758 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75782. The Max-E-Loader and Max-Frame are both custom bolt-on options with a class III rating. The main difference between the two is installation and aesthetics. The Max-Frame which is what I recommend has a hidden cross tube meaning only the required receiver tube portion is shown therefore you will get the cleanest look and best ground clearance. However, the downside of the hidden design is that the install process will be more lengthy and difficult. I have attached install videos on both options for you to compare. On the other hand, the Max-E-Loader is much easier to install but does not have a hidden cross tube so you will sacrifice both aesthetics and ground clearance. I have attached a photo of each installed to further show the aesthetic differences.
If you will be towing a trailer, you will also need a trailer wiring harness and ball mount/hitch ball. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118802 is what I recommend which is plug and play. If your trailer has brakes, you can add the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit part # ETBC7L and the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180. Finally, the Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 would complete the towing setup.
