Will Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Fit 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan with Factory Raised Rails
Updated 07/06/2020 | Published 11/28/2019 >
Question:
I really like these bars and would like to purchase. The site says it’s not a fitment for my vehicle. I can’t see any reason that it wouldn’t fit? I’m thinking about buying anyways and trying.

The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack, part # MPG215 is a universal roof rack that works with pretty much any vehicle with factory raised rails, like the ones pictured on the photo you shared of your 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan. The 50 inch length is confirmed to fit for your Tiguan. I confirmed this with Malone.
Another one of our customers also reported no issues attaching this rack on their Volkswagen factory rails (see attached photo).

Is the 1” depth of these Malone AirFlow2 exactly accurate? Not a little more or less? 2019 VW Golf Alltrack, will be trying to reuse my Rhode gear kayak saddles. They have a U shaped metal piece which attaches to the saddle above around the crossbar with wing nuts. On previous car, the cross bars were only about 3/4” deep, which allows enough of the bolt part of the U piece to stick up through the wing nuts. It could be a close call if these are any deeper than 1” & hoping they are a little shy of 1”.
