For your 2020 Chevrolet Traverse with a factory hitch, I recommend the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit # AM3411 because it offers different height positions allowing up to a 5 inch drop or 6 inch rise. This is recommended for vehicles with 20 - 24 inches of hitch ground clearance, making it a perfect match since your factory hitch protrudes out of the center bumper cover panel, much like our Curt # CU29FR, which has a 20-1/2 inch ground clearance. The # AM3411 features a ball combo with an 1-7/8 inch and a 2 inch ball.

If you're looking for a standard (non-adjustable) ball mount instead, I'm happy to make a recommendation, however, the amount of rise/drop needed is going to depend on both the vehicle hitch height and the coupler height of the particular trailer you plan on towing.
