Does Replacement Front Lid Support for Yakima SkyBox 16 Come With Base

Question:

Yakima Skybox 16. I read your reply to this question, I have the same problem attached with rivets and has broken off leaving the rivets thank you, but can you confirm that the replacement arm comes with the replacement base piece?. I do not see one in the part specification and presumably one would need a new base piece with screws to attach the replacement arm to?

The Replacement Lid Support # 8880683 is designed to fit models that already have the base piece attached such as the SkyBox 16 # Y07335 and because of that does not come with the base piece. I checked with Yakima and that specific base piece is not available as a replacement part, unfortunately. I know this is not the news you were looking for but if there is no way to close and secure the lid, a replacement cargo box may be needed, and I've added a link to our entire selection for you to check out if you decide to go that route.
