Question:
Do you have instructions w photos if possible to install the P3 in a 2006 VW Tourag V10? I purchased the P3 from you and acquired the parts from VW dealer as noted in your tech bulletin. The mechanic is scratching his head and any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Tech Bulletin that you were looking at, see link, is the best resource we have for installing a brake controller on the 2006 Volkswagen Touareg. I think that I can expand on the instructions a bit to make a bit of sense out of the wording, and I have a photo of the parts you should get, see link.
You will need to purchase 2 wire assemblies from VW, part number 000-979-228, that will have wire terminals on both ends. You will need to cut each assembly in half to create 4 wires. The 4 ends with terminals on them will plug into the connector you get from the dealer, part number 1J0-972-782, install one wire in each of the 4 numbered slots in the plastic connector.
Connect the white wire from the brake controller to the wire installed in the number 1 position in the connector. Connect the black wire from the brake controller to the wire installed in the number 2 position in the connector. Connect the blue wire from the brake controller to the wire installed in the number 4 position in the connector.
The red wire from the brake controller must be ran to a wiring relay like part # D16763, Connect the red wire from the brake controller to the # 87 terminal on the relay. Next, connect the wire installed in the number 3 position in the plastic connector to the # 86 terminal on the relay. Finally connect the # 85 terminal on the relay to ground and the # 30 terminal with an inline fuse holder to the positive post of the vehicle battery. Install a 5 amp fuse in the fuse holder.
