Do I Need a Relay to Install Seaflo 5.5GPM On Dual Switches
Updated 05/13/2021 | Published 05/07/2021 >
Question:
my aquajet 5305 original equipment did come with quick connects and currently available aquajet come that way also. thanks my two switches use a 10 amp intellitec relay that turn on pump by connecting to ground. so 12v is always at pump and is activated by switching to ground to complete the circuit. so question is does your pump need the 10 amp relay and does going to ground when switch is on work with your pump?

I confirmed with my contact at Seaflo that the # SE24FR does not require any relays to be installed in this manner, and you can turn the pump on and off in this installation method.
