Question:
Bought mini 1 wire clearance light to replace broken one.Well I spliced the brown Wire from light to brown/white trailer light together.Took white trailer ground wire and connected it to the light stud with round eye connector between to round washers.Well it does not light up,the front clearance light works on that side. What did I do wrong?

The Wesbar Mini Clearance and Side Marker Trailer Light part # 203233 features a one wire design so the brown wire will be hooked up to the trailer's running light circuit and then the light will be grounded by the mounting stud. If you will be using this to replace a light with a two wire design then all you need to do is hook the running light wire on the trailer to the brown wire on the light and then cap off the ground wire or run it to the mounting stud. If this is how you have the light installed then make sure the stud is secure and the ground point is clean. Also, make sure you have power on the trailer's running light circuit at the end of the wire.
I have attached a trailer wiring help article for you as well.
